Message Of The Week

Cruel Master

“They that see thee shall narrowly look upon thee, and consider thee, saying, Is this the man that made the earth to tremble, that did shake kingdoms; That made the world as a wilderness, and destroyed the cities thereof; that opened not the house of his prisoners?” Isaiah 14:16-17

The verses above speak of a well known individual whom the Bible calls the devil and Satan. The very last phrase, “that opened not the house of his prisoners” helps us see what kind of master he is. If he gets control over a person, when someone gets hooked on his hooks – such person’s destiny is to be a captive and abused for the rest of his life; locked in a prison cell that is never meant to be open again.

There is no mercy or pity toward those who belong to the devil. Day and night they ought to obey him no matter how bad the consequences are. There is no known occasion where the devil just let his prisoners go free. Every one that escaped this cruel master was liberated by someone else. Read More...
